On 17–18 October 2025, the third interdisciplinary Hungarian Conference on Scientific Computing was held at Óbuda University in Budapest, Hungary, organized by the Institute for Scientific Computing. A PhD student from CoVLab, Anu Bazarragchaa, received the Best Speaker Award for her project entitled “Correlating Mortality Peaks with Respiratory Virus Emergence: A Blueprint for Identifying Historical Pandemics.”
